About us

In our 37-year journey together, we've donned multiple hats - entrepreneurs, retirees, wanderers and back to entrepreneurs again. Across London, the Philippines, US, Canada and Ireland, we've lived, learned and turned every obstacle into a stepping stone. Born and bred in Cavite City and Florida respectively, we brought our diverse heritage together in the UK back in 2008.

A longing for home-food led to the birth of our venture – an online Filipino grocery store that soon became the largest of its kind in the EU. With customer orders coming in from all corners of the globe, our business grew in leaps and bounds. But with growth came challenges that were too grand for us to manage alone, prompting us to graciously bow out.

But every end has a new beginning. Our online grocery store taught us the indispensable value of credit for our customers - a lesson that led us to delve into the realm of loans and remittances. Today, we are here to cater to your financial needs backed by my experience as a bank manager in the Philippines, a Loan Officer in the USA, and Charles' astute financial acumen honed by his MBA in Finance.

But at heart, we're more than just a business. We believe in giving back to the community that's supported us through thick and thin. That's why we founded The Handog Pinoy Foundation - our humble attempt to aid those in need.

Handog Pinoy Foundation

Our Foundation is used to provide funding for education and emergencies to underprivileged students and their families.  All monies come directly from profits generated by our own businesses.  We work with the Royal Blood Foundation in the Philippines.  We provide the money, they provide the labour.
